About the event

This multi-sensory experience will be sure to delight.

  • simple, mindful stetches and yoga poses
  • snuggles with goats
  • snacks to feed the goats
  • crisp, cool, October Georgia weather (not guaranteed)
  • fresh farm aromas and clean, country air
  • goat cheese and produce directly from the Good Place Farm
  • wine
  • tour of the farm with introductions to the animals

This beginner-level yoga class with special goat guests will  highlight the ever-changing nature of life.  Our focus will be on the concept that we can only control our reactions to what happens out in the world, even when we can't alter the nature of animals, people, or events.

We will practice breathing techniques and poses that will aid balance, strength, better sleep, stress relief, ease from anxiety, flexibility, resilience, and focus,...all while in the company of goats.

Afterwards, participants will enjoy wine, goat cheeses and various fresh produce from the farm.  This is not simply farm-to-table; this IS the table .  On the actual farm!

Part of the proceeds from this event will benefit FreedOM Youth Yoga, a nonprofit with the goal of bringing yoga to kids and teens who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity.

Animals can be unpredictable,  and the legal drinking age is 21, so we ask that participants be older than 21 and able to comprehend the capricious nature of even typically sweet farm animals.

Since this is our innaugural event, there is a maximum number of 20 partcipants per class.

Bring a beach towel (unless you don't mind cleaning goat poop off your yoga mat),  and a water bottle for staying hydrated.

While yoga is traditionally practiced while barefoot, participants may choose to leave on their farm-friendly footwear, as a personal preference.
